Adequate and timely credit are the main pillars in SME financing. The success of any independent venture in Small Scale Industry sector and in Medium enterprises sector mainly depends on the financial stability of the promoters and pro attitude of financial institutions. Sufficient or surplus funds in the possession of promoters will pave way for pondering better investment opportunities and if so confidence of the promoters will be in high pitch in implementation of SME projects. Role of institutions established for SME financing, and banks are vital in pumping adequate funds to the credit seekers thereby converting their noval ideas into real working projects. Crunch of funds or hindrance in proximity to it may drain enthusiasm of entrepreneurs.

The implementation period of SME Projects will be shortened by timely financing. The burden on pre-operative expenses will be less and time for conversion of fixed investment into income generation operations will also be reduced.
